What to expect from a bicycle service

A good bicycle service begins with understanding the condition of the bike. At Cycle Care, we look over the frame, brakes, gears, tyres, and key moving parts before recommending any work. That helps keep the repair scope clear and practical from the start.

Common jobs include brake adjustment, gear and drivetrain service, puncture and tyre repair, and standard tune-ups. If a replacement part is needed, compatibility is checked before anything is confirmed, so the work stays appropriate for the bike in front of us.

From safety checks to drivetrain adjustments, every service starts with a proper inspection.

We also carry out a post-service function check to make sure the bicycle operates as expected after the repair and adjustment stage. For more involved work, the turnaround depends on component condition and parts availability.

Customers can book by phone, email, contact form, or drop in at the workshop. We offer extended hours through the week and on Saturdays, with service arranged around everyday riding and commuting needs where possible.
